NOTE: If you are deaf and wish to use the services of an interpreter when offered, it is important that you notify the box office at the time you purchase or reserve your ticket, so that you may be allocated a seat near the interpreter!
The following theatrical groups committed to sign language interpreting one performance of each main series production for the 2007-2008 season. For other theatre companies, you need to ask several weeks in advance.
Unless otherwise specified, all performances above are ASL Sign Language Interpreted. No text captioning is generally available, but some theaters offer ALDs; see our list of Triangle Theaters With Assistive Listening Devices. Generally, Arts Access has not arranged for the services above; rather they are listed here for your convenience based on information supplied to us. However, any theater or group wishing to hire a sign language interpreter or purchase an assistive listening device system may consult our list of Sign Language Interpreter and ALD Sources.
